Family Planning
Contact:
Family planning allows you to decide the best time to have a child. Services are provided to all women and adolescents of child bearing age. Initial and annual visits include a thorough medical history, assessment of blood pressure, weight and height, pap smear and clinical breast exam. Routine Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) screenings are also available. Multivitamins are provided. Several different types of oral contraceptives, Depo-Provera, patches, foam, vaginal contraceptive film, condoms, and diaphragms and other methods are offered. Other methods may be provided to women who cannot tolerate traditional methods. When the client comes in for the initial visit, the practitioner discusses which method is the most appropriate. Fees are based on the federal sliding fee schedule. Services are available by appointment.
